What is balance?!

After noticing the children trying to balance blocks, we provided a provocation of a scale.

One friend suggested that we try out the sand in the sensory table.

Charlotte made the following observation:

"How does that side have a little and that side has more?"
"That side is lower and down."
"Those materials are heavier than those."
"Let's add one more scoop to this side."

Ice sculpture

The children were mixing colored water. They wanted to find a way to save them
And suggested putting them in the refrigerator (in the top).

Two days later, we revisited the colors we had created.
            "They've turned to ice."- Claire
