How old are you?!

A Birthday Bat

Megan's request for her birthday was that her friends make her a baseball bat on the Makerbot.

They started by drawing a design.

Next, they asked Ms.Katie to help them get their design to the Makerbot.

Megan and her friends enjoyed watching the bat being made.

She requested that it be painted rainbow colors so.....we obliged:)

A Great Game

Today we revisited a game we made earlier in the school year. We had such a great time making up new rules and remembering the old ones.

Apple Pie

We used the rest of the apples that Colman brought in to make a tasty apple pie (or dump cake). It was very good!

"It turned the wheels!"

The children got a chance to see how batteries worked in this toy car.

"I'm going to take the motherboard out."

Music to Their Ears

They discovered that although the DVD player is not working, they can still make music. They found an old CD and have been singing and dancing to their own version of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" and The Little Einstiens theme song.
