Insect Scavenger Hunt

Happy Friday! Today we had a busy day exploring outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our class enjoyed throwing and kicking some balls around the playscape. They also were playing family and pretending some kids were the parents and some were the pet dogs. It was great to see our class using their imagination and playing well together. Since we have been interested in finding bugs and insects outside, Ms. Kelly joined us for a fun insect scavenger hunt before lunch today! We brought along clipboards with different insect pictures on them to find on our walk and by the forest. We also used magnifying glasses to look closely at the trees, grass, and ground to find more insects. We used our eagle eyes to look for insects and found so many different types of bugs! Ask your child what type of bugs they found today. Have a great weekend!
