Our amazing forest is truly the most magical place. Every student and teacher agrees, there is just something so very special about our forest days.
From the moment we turn the corner we hear cries of excitement.
"IT'S THE FOREST! I SEE THE FOREST!!!!!"
We used our imaginations to create stories.
We used our bodies to lift, carry, push and pull.
We made connections to the stories we are reading in our classroom.
We turned bits of nature into amazing materials of creativity.
We ran...
and climbed,
and rested.
We looked closely and used our senses.
We even found nature letters!!!
There is magic that happens when we spend the day surrounded by nature.
The warmth of the sunshine,
the soft touch of the breeze against our skin
The song of birds overhead,
and the chirp of the crickets below.
The brush of the leaves against our arms and legs,
the snap of a twig beneath our feet.
The laughter of children
The magic of the forest.
