Nature Walk

We are transforming our kitchen into a nature area so needed to search for materials.

A Present for Mr. Johnny

For Custodians' Day we thought Mr. Johnny should get a special cape. Yesterday the children drew the outline of the cape. Next, they pinned its layers together and sewed it, then painted it. Today the entire school surprised him with a party! We can tell he really liked his cape:)

An Awesome Visit from the WG Fire Department

The children were so excited to find that the surprise that they were waiting for was from the Webster Groves Fire Department. After our fire drill they stayed to talk about fire safety. During their visit they got a real call. The children enjoyed watching them put on their fire gear and drive off with their siren on.

More tomatoes

Today we cut more tomatoes and tasted them. More and more friends are starting to like tomatoes:)
