  We had a visit from the High School orchestra this morning. 

They played some music from Frozen, Brave, The Incredibles, 

  And Madagascar. Thanks for coming!!

Provocation with a tape measure

     The children have been using many words of measurement

     and comparing sizes with many items in the classroom. 

       "I want mine to be taller." 

              "Yours is shorter." 

                "This tower is a 30."

                 Recording our data

    The children measured the pendulum, shelves, 

     and towers. Look closely for the representations of these 

     items seen written before the numbers.

A Sewing Experience

Today we worked on creating a pillow on a sewing machine. The children picked their fabric, pinned it in place, and used the foot pedal to sew a pillow along with adding stuffing.
