We are becoming experts at showing kindness, finding kindness, and exploring kindness. Today during capers, Birch was challenged to share kindness with Sycamore and Magnolia while we caper.
How can we show and share kindness with others?
We can show kindness by teaching others about our space. We can help them find what they need. We can build on to their ideas with respect. We can use our words to help solve problems. We can share our strong kindness brains to help others learn.

This week we are focusing on kindness and what it looks like to live out our agreements.
Stick Together.
We agreed at the beginning of the year that when we all stick together we are the best Birch room we can be.
What does that look like?
When we have different ideas how can we merge them?
What does it look like to be kind when our plans don't match?
HW and JW you agreed that you would build a crane together.
You took turns.
You talked about where your pieces should go.
You asked questions.
You stuck together!
JA and CZ you seemed to intuitively know what you would create.
With no preamble you began creating.
Taking turns one after another back and forth.
"Can I put my piece there?" JA
"Sure!" CZ
You stuck together!
JI and AP you created an airplane together.
Not only did you take turns building, you took turns flying it after it was done!
You stuck together!
EH and EZ you were more focused on the process of taking turns that on creating a specific structure. You looked at one another, smiling and laughing the entire time!
You stuck togther!
LB and GC you worked together to create a garden!
You built the garden itself and then added cabbages!
You had different ideas at first, and it was tricky, but you did it.
You stuck together!
Legos are a highly preferred activity. We all have our own favorite things to create with them. When we have only one color, and only a limited amount of legos what do we do?
