Can You Move Your Marble?

    Today was caper day! Our Birch Room friends explored so many new spaces! 

Two of our Birch Room friends worked so hard in the space Can You Move Your Marble? 

SS created his own maze with a starting point and an ending point for his marble to move through. 

SS tried again and built more to his maze. He noticed he had to fix some of his pieces too. 

SS and JG put their brains together and made a GIANT maze! 

JG wanted to add a bridge to their maze. 

The first bridge they built was too short so their marble wouldn't go through!

JG and SS put their brains together and figured out that if they made it taller their marble would be able to go through. 

They even added a flag to their maze!

Turn the table over and see what happens?! Today I flipped over our block table, just to see what happened. We have been on the path of building, but noticed that each day we were seeing a variation of the same structure. So - we mixed it up! The results were amazing. 

Check out the new, the fantastic, Birch Room Airport. Complete with a luggage area, speakers for any important announcements, a train to take you from your car to the plane, and even robots to shoot off rockets.

 We put our brains together and came up with some new spaces with new ideas. Our Birch Room friends love to build and create!

Can you move your marble? 

Our Birch friends worked so hard to build their own maze and figure out a way for their marble to move through the maze.

Our friends were so inspired by some of their books that they spent the whole entire time building their own city!

Their city has a place for money. It has a place for food and a place for drinks!

In another space our friends put their brains together and worked to build in a winter wonderland. 

EZ and SG made a snowy forest!

They added plants, lights, and snowflakes to their forest. 

Some of our friends were such big helpers and spent some of their time sorting out different materials!
