Thank you for the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!

 Birch room, thank you so much for making me feel so special on my Birthday. From the generous gifts and delicious treats to the candy to share, you have all been so thoughtful. 

Birch Room has filled my day with Wish dance parties, beautiful drawings, hugs, songs, and so much love. 

If I have to spend my birthday somewhere other than a warm beach, I am glad it is with my Birch Room Family. 

To celebrate my birthday I chose four things. 

1. Have a dance party. 

2. Learn 4 new signs. 

 

3. Make bracelets to take home. 

4. Spend the WHOLE DAY outside. 

Ms. Lisa and friends worked hard to make it happen.

Caper Day Creativity

 It was a great day of creativity throughout our caper groups.  We are always excited to share our classroom passions with one another.  Capering is such a special time of collaboration and, as one friend said 

"I am inspired by that!" SuS

In the Birch room we were inspired by the beauty of flowers.

Today, we celebrated Ms. Riley's last day in Birch with a student planned surprise party. We decorated the room, ate some of her favorite treats, worked together to create a BEAUTIFUL bouquet, and spent the morning just being together. 

Ms. Riley has been so important in helping the Birch Room grow and learn this year. From her kind words to her creative ideas, from her warm morning greetings to her patience, we have enjoyed each day spent with her. 

We are so grateful she has been with us, and wish her well on her next journey!
