Work Together Wednesday

Good afternoon! Today we participated in Work Together Wednesday to celebrate the Week of the Young Child! Our class discovered a new alphabet and number puzzle on the carpet that they needed to work together to build. Some of the other activities in the room were drawing together on the easel, playing with playdough together, and building together. During our morning meeting we read a book called Speak Up and had a conversation about how we can speak up if we hear or see someone doing something that is not kind. We also talked about how we can include our friends while we play and how we can be a good friend.

When we went outside to the playscape we continued to look for pieces of nature to create our own nature suncatchers! The class collected small flowers, dandelions, pieces of grass, and leaves in paper bags to create suncatchers. We also brought our science color viewers outside to see what we could see in nature. Ask your child about their day and what they worked with on with a friend for work together Wednesday! Have a great evening!
