Enjoy these glimpses of our forest day today.
These friends were doing what they love best, playing family! I heard
"Do you want to be the baby?" "This can be the bed." "Who is the sister?"
HW you were busy creating tools from the forest. You found this big branch and I watched as you spun around and around and around with it. When I came closer you told me
"This is my drill. Wanna see how it works?" HW
Absolutely!
First you used the small side and then you flipped it over and used the other side.
"Cause I need a bigger hole." HW
A bit later I noticed you with a different branch.
"This is my grabber. It grabs things." HW
This giant root ball is a place where imaginations come to life.
It is amazing for climbing and become the main character in our wildest dreams!

That is so beautiful.
You are really noticing the amazing animals the forest holds. As we were looking at the feather you noticed a giant hawk land in the tree right above us!

JI, you and MS were AMAZED by these mushrooms growing all over these logs. We have never seen such big ones growing all over the place! The bright white color POPPED in the middle of all of the browns of nature and made them seem like amazing jewels decorating the trees.
The logs and trees of the forest are spaces the children always gravitate. They have become boats, trains, horses, dinosaurs, and places to escape from the "hot lava"
ET you LOVE being outside. You were filled with delight as you explored and investigated.
AS you are such a thoughtful friend. You were caring for your friend ET when he tripped.
