Over the course of this year, the children have evolved with their use of lines in the classroom

and how to fit those lines together to represent their ideas. Multiple conversations have taken place 

regarding roller coasters and the kinds of lines that are used. Today, we introduced of provocation using a different medium of paper strips. We started with a blank canvas. 

 "I'm going to make a straight line." -NZ

Building fine motor skills and hand strength using scissors 

              Now where do we go?

       "It needs to turn to go back inside." -CD 

We used pieces like this to fill the holes in the track. 

          "It's wavy." -NZ 

         We took a close look as a class before heading to lunch.
