Buildings, Designs, and Menus

The children got right back to building restaurants and creating menus.  I love seeing them use these writing materials in new spaces.  Many of the restaurants had hamburgers, french fries, pizza, water, cake, and green beans.

We are working on figuring out a space and materials to use to create a more permanent restaurant in the classroom.  We discussed in our meeting to day about some ideas and we will work on these this week and after spring break. 

A small group went to the collaboratory to build smaller structures and use balls to knock them over.
