What Can You Create?

Good afternoon! Today in the classroom we had a challenge of creating our own works of art using different materials. Our question was "What can you create?" and the materials provided were paper bags, small pom-poms, googly eyes, scraps of colored paper, markers, scissors, and glue. Some of the class mentioned making their paper bag into a monster or a person. It was very cool to see that each child's creation was different and unique. We also took turns helping create salt dough in the classroom. Some of the class measured the ingredients and helped some stirred them together to the make the dough. Ask your child about their favorite part of today!

"I'm going to use all of these pom-poms!" -M.S.

"I need to put these eyes on my heart" -F

"Let's count how many eyes my monster has!" -B

"This is going to make it all green! It's a little bit hard to stir!" -M.Y.

"I can jump all the way across the rocks without a bridge!" -S
"Me too!" -T

"Look! I found bird feathers over here by the tree!" -A
"It looks like an eagle feather!" -M.R.

We were very excited to see the new rocks on the playscape!
