Today is Friday and Friday are forests days and we were oh so excited to visit this space and look at all the wonderful nature around us. During meeting time we talked about four ways to keep our forest safe. Ask your student if they remember any of these four ways!
We met at our meeting tree to make sure all our friends were sticking together and we went over our forest agreements.

We found a pink plant that looks like it has blueberries on it... I wonder what these are called?
Pokeberries!
We got so messy they got all over our hands!
We even found bugs!
We climbed and ran together.
We found some really HUGE sticks!
We had such a great first day in the forest, we ran, we learned new things, and we stuck together. We cant wait for next time!
It was such a great first full week in Birch Room. Have a good long weekend :)
