Playing in the snowy forest with friends from Maple and Birch brought so much joy and excitement to our day! The frozen blanket of snow transformed our familiar outdoor space into what felt like a brand-new world waiting to be explored. There is something magical about snow that invites curiosity, teamwork, and laughter.
One of the biggest highlights was sliding down the hill like penguins. Students giggled as they wiggled on their bellies and scooted side by side, even using each other as sleds! Moments like these build friendships and confidence, while also encouraging problem-solving and cooperation. Exploring the forest in winter truly feels like discovering a whole new landscape — an opportunity for imagination and wonder.
We feel incredibly happy and grateful to be part of a school community that values exploration, creativity, learning, and play. Sharing these experiences with friends from other classes helps children feel connected to the larger community and reminds us all how special it is to learn and grow together.
