New boulders for the playscape

Happy Thursday! Today was our friend Millie's 4th birthday and we celebrated by making a picture of things she loves on a birthday canvas to hang in our classroom! We had some exciting things happening today on the playscape as well. A truck came to deliver big boulder rocks to the sandbox area of the playscape. Our class got to watch the boulders get delivered from up on the hill by the slide. Some of the class wondered what the big yellow machines were going to do and what they were called. The class decided they were called bulldozers and they were using them to move the big rocks. While we were outside our class also enjoyed playing a superhero game.
