Today, to celebrate Week of the Young Child we had TASTY TUESDAY. It was a hit. Each student was given a "recipe card" and used this to count, sort, and create their Tasty Trail Mix. Finding a way to learn through play is something we love to do.
Yesterday, we voted on what would make a tasty treat.
Chocolate chips
White chocolate chips
Pretzels
Popcorn
Pirates booty
Gold fish
Skittles
Gummy worms
Salt
Rainbow sprinkles
Using our best culinary judgement, we provided (what we grown ups) thought would be the best snacky combo. Each student counted every ingredient, mixed them all up, and enjoyed! It was a fun and exciting way to spend our morning!
