We started this morning by building, creating with clay, and playing some games in the classroom. A group of students played shape bingo while others created and experimented with clay. Some friends began to build a track around the room and this became a very popular activity with the class. They made it almost all the way around the room and started a jumping game over some of the blocks. This made the students wonder how far they were jumping. They found the measuring tape and took turns measuring how far they could jump. Some students would remember their length and try to beat that length the next time around.
The class went down to the gym for a while to wheel around on scooters and build with materials! We returned to the classroom and read some books before going outside to play. The students enjoyed their delicious pizza and are excited to get back outside to play! Enjoy your weekend!
