Good afternoon! For our Artsy Thursday project in the classroom we painted with watercolors on the light table. The class noticed that the colors almost looked like they were glowing in the dark because of the light shining underneath the paper! During our morning meeting we voted on what colors of liquid watercolors we wanted to use to spray on paper outside. Each child made one tally mark next to the color they wanted to paint with most and then we counted to see which colors had the most votes. Red, blue, and yellow won the color vote so we mixed these liquid watercolors into spray bottles. We also created a piece of art using paint splatters on a big canvas.
