Dance, dance, dance!

Hello and happy Thursday! We began our morning with a few greeting games and building with loose parts and using beads and numbers on the light table. Some students continued building words with letter tiles and cubes and worked with the "OP" word family today. The kids seem to really enjoy this "big kid" activity!

 

 

 

Later on, we went to the gym and played with some Magnolia friends! A group of our students built a big house out of magnets and created a room for each person in the house. Others exercised on bikes and read books in the cozy reading corner. We returned to the classroom and designed some numbers to use on the light table. The students are able to build these numbers with a variety of materials. This inspired the students to decorate more numbers and use them around the classroom or for their home. Before lunch, we had a yoga and dance party! We exercised and stretched our bodies and enjoyed some Kidz Bop music! Ask your child to show off his or her dance moves tonight!
