Paintings and beads

Hello and happy Friday! The Birch room has been settling well into the new morning routine! After we did our movement, the students made choices in the classroom. Some built a "dam" out of loose parts and blocks.

Other friends played with connecters and designed at the light table.

Ms. Susie brought in package wrapping for the class. The students decided to decorate it with paint! They noticed how it felt very funny while running the paintbrush over the bumpy material.

We had several requests yesterday during Capers to create bracelets with the beads, so we did just that! Take a look at some of their bracelets:

The classes ended the morning by riding bikes and playing in the gym. While riding bikes, the students set up a "cookie drive-thru" and enjoyed their treats while riding their bikes...how creative! We went on a short walk before lunch to get some fresh air. Have a great weekend!
