Wow, we have had a lot of exciting activities happen at school today! We began the morning by singing a greeting song and making choices throughout the classroom. Some students continued to add detail to a building they created yesterday.
Other friends completed puzzles, designed with loose parts, and created still art pieces from our bird book. Take a look at all of their hard work!
After playing in the classroom, we gathered for a class meeting. We practiced some of our deep breathing and sang a greeting song. Ms. Katie joined us to talk about our jelly! She showed our class the small jars of jelly and told us that they are ready to take home! We plan to bake some biscuits next week to pair with our jelly.
A small group of students went into the gym for some exercising. Students climbed the rock wall, rocked on rockers, built with materials and played with Willow friends! We met the rest of the class in the collaboratory where friends were building houses and ships out of blocks. Others created paths for the balls on the magnetic ball wall and played in our new fort! We ended our morning by bundling up and going outside for a few minutes. It was cold, but the fresh air was worth it!
