Nature walk

Hello and happy Friday! We were able to get outside today and take a lovely walk! The students had a lot of energy and were so excited to get outside and enjoy warmer weather.

We walked around our neighborhood, observing things in nature and changes in downtown Webster. We noticed that a bank we have been walking by and observing throughout the school year is finally complete! The class shared their observations on how they built the bank (such as using brick) and they were excited to see the final product. As we continued our walk, we collected acorns, rocks and sticks for our classroom and to take home.

"Birch trees!"

The Birch room ended our morning by practicing "catch" and building in the collaboratory! We hope you all have a good weekend and enjoy some of the warm weather that is hopefully coming our way!
