Capers with Wire

Today we had our first Small Capers of the new year! Many rooms changed their language. We changed our language to wire. Maple changed their language to water. Spruce's language is clay and Magnolia is sticking with pant.

What shapes can you make with wire?

 

As friends began to explore the wire they were experimenting with twisting the wires.  "I'm making a circle. It's a bracelet"  "Mine's a balloon."

Some friends were getting frustrated with how to twist and connect the wire.  "This is hard. I need help" "Can you tie this for me. I need help."

W. was really working hard on getting his wire to connect. He was so proud of himself.
