Wire with Capers and Snow!

Today at capers we worked with wire, corks and cardboard.  The children experimented with pushing the wire into the corks.  This was a challenge because some of the wire was thin and softer.  If you pushed to hard it just bent.  If you didn't push hard enough the wire would not go in.  It took more patience to work it into the cork.

 

We also discovered if you twist the wire around the corks the make the corks "stuck"

You can tell the children are becoming more and more comfortable with the wire. Their creations are becoming more precise and elaborate.

Before capers we noticed GIANT snowflakes falling from the sky.  Of course we ran out to catch a few in our mouths! It was pure joy!
