Happy Break!

Today we enjoyed our time together by building, creating a collage, working on a birthday canvas, and playing the famous Shoe Game!   We ended our morning by enjoying a special snack!

 

 

 

 

We hope you all have a wonderful break with your families.  We hope it is full of fun, laughter, magic and some time to relax.   We will see you in the New Year!

S'mores and Snow!

Good afternoon! The student had so much during our activities this morning! We started off our morning by making choices in the classroom and doing another birthday canvas. Other friends built with blocks, legos and magnets.

After playing, we decided to go join Ms. Katie out by the bonfire! We bundled up and joined some other classes on the playscape. The students waited very patiently while we let another class finish roasting their marshmallows. When it was Birch's turn, the students took turns roasting their marshmallows and they did a great job sharing their sticks with one another.

They were super sticky and super good! We are excited for Pajama day tomorrow!

The Snowman and Hot Chocolate

Today we were treated to a special showing of "The Snowman"  We pretended we were in a movie theater and watched this special movie.  The movie didn't have any words but we could tell what was going on by the music.

After the movie we a few of us went to the kitchen to make the hot chocolate. 

 

 

Once the hot chocolate was hot we brought it back to the room to share with our friends. Yummy treat before break!

Caper Day!

Hello and happy Friday and caper day! The students were so excited to caper, spend time with friends in the other classrooms and work on different projects happening throughout the school.

 

We began the morning by singing morning greeting songs and making choices in the classroom. The class worked on a birthday canvas, built at the light table and created objects out of floam. 

During capers, the students built a big tower filled with a variety of loose parts. The animals also were living inside the big structure! 

Other students experimented with water and bubbles. Students were able to also experiment with color mixing at our art table. 

Some students created books out of small paper and used colored pencils to write the words and illustrations. They used a hole punch and strings to create the books. 

We are very excited for all of our activities next week! Have a great weekend!
