It has been a wild week, and we wouldn’t have had as much fun if it wasn’t for Ms. Jessica and Ms. Callista. Thank you for much for being with us this week to celebrate Week of the Young Child!
What is art?
It is pretty. It is something you make. It is something you paint. Art is so much fun. Art is using your creative brain. Art is art. Art can be what you want it to be.
We used our brain to try and define art. We ended us deciding art was what we wanted it to be. It can be anything that brings us joy, anything we create, anything we make to share with others.
Our free choice time was centered around using our creative brains and making something beautiful.
Some chose to water color.
Others tried their hand at sculpting.
Still more wanted to design and create bracelets and crowns.
The creative juices were flowing, we put that energy into our amazing auction project. Building on our study of kindness and celebrating each act of kindness with a gem, we strung together beautiful beads to make kindness strings. Keep your eyes out for the final product!
As an added bonus, we started our day with a special story time!
