Today's Walking Wednesday came with a question for our Birch friends.
How can you use your eyes to notice insects that fly and insects that crawl?
Zoom in closely, what insect can you find hiding among these leaves?
"Those are fancy leaves with the yellow!" JI
We looked down as we strolled along and discovered the tiniest creatures crawling along the grass/sidewalk line.
"Look at the ants!"
We are often in such a hurry that we miss the small wonders around us. Our children have a magical way of taking our adult agenda and tossing it right out the window! How often do we miss the amazement that is literally right beneath our feet as we walk along?
The tiny ants were a gift
a breath of fresh air,
a moment to slow down,
a pause to be still and observe the wonder of nature.
There is a home we pass with row upon row of these magical plants just beginning to bloom.
They are amazing in their own right but today we noticed more.
"There's a ANT on here!!!"
These beautiful plants were partnering with the ants.
