Happy Wednesday! Today was picture day and everyone looked so fancy and brought their best smiles! We waited outside for our turn and played with some legos, brain flakes, magnatiles, and books. It was so beautiful out that we didn't mind :)
After our pictures, some friends played inside and began exploring a zoo provocation. During their play, there was talk of habitats:
M: How about we make a butterfly habitat!
T: Yeah!
M.S.: Let's do it!
E: "Don't let the animals out!"
M: "They're out of the cage because they're new."
"I'm moving my habitat and making a new one."
S: "These butterflies match!"
M.S.:"This is an Australian habitat!"
Ms. Lacey: "Why is it an Australian habitat?"
M.S.: "Because there are bugs and lots of animals and some trees!"
Some friends decided to play with playdough and open a bakery.
R: "I'm making a cinnamon roll!"
E: "This is a star cake!"
